Where do I begin? Part 1

My story complicated, it’s actually a nightmare. My daughter was at work and had a seizure she ended up in the hospital at University of Virginia. 

       A man found her on the floor in the morning at work. She work midnights at the Hampton hotel in Virginia. It was around 4:00 am when he found her.

        I got a text from my son in law telling me she was in critical condition. I lived out of state in Michigan so I had to catch a flight as soon as possible. I couldn’t get to her fast enough. I didn’t realize how serious it was until I finally reach the hospital. 

        My oldest daughter Charlotte picked me up at the airport and we drove to the hospital. 

         We walked into the hospital to see this device sticking out of my daughter’s head. Her brain was swelling and they had to relieve the pressure. Her IV poll had so much medication on it. There was medication that was in a case that was locked up this is how strong her medication was. 

        The doctor told me they did all they could do. It was up to her and they didn’t know if she was going to make it through the night. We didn’t leave her!!! 

         Her husband left to go home and we were shocked he left after being told the news that his wife may not make it. 

         I don’t remember to much about the second day. My daughter Charlotte and I were so tired from traveling and staying up most of the night. When we did sleep it was in a chair. But my daughter who is in a coma had made it through the night.

These are the cute images I used for my card.

My card is 6x6 and I used Dark Rust ink for edges.

Inking the edges of my papers and doily.

I add cardboard on the back on my papers for a lift.

I added lemon pearls to the Prima flowers for color.

Products I used.

I used some liquid pearls and water and dab it on my card with a paint brush.

I use this puff paint from Close to my Heart. I use the puff paint for a picture frame and around the outer edge of my card stock.

I use this Mist to splash on my card.

My grand Daughter Laney was born on Christmas night, so her parents have her 2 trees every year. One tree is a birthday tree and the other is a Christmas tree. This ornament is for her Birthday tree.

I had so much fun making this card for my grandson who is 6 years old and love Cars.

I made this paper ornament using the end of the ribbon holder, I just strip some pretty paper and ink the edges than curl the paper and glue it to the end of the ribbon holder.

I first quilted ornament I got the kit from Ornament Girl on Facebook.
